Even the most dedicated diet and exercising can lead to frustration when areas of stubborn fat refuse to go away. Since modern techniques in body contouring with liposuction began over 30 years ago, new technologies have recently been developed that are far more effective in fat reduction and especially skin tightening. They are less invasive with a faster downtime and recovery. BodyTite™ using radiofrequency (RF) is the latest, most advanced and effective technology with significantly more skin tightening than previous lasers and ultrasound technologies. It has the most effective skin tightening of all minimally invasive procedures using the newest cutting-edge technology. It can be used under local tumescent anesthesia in smaller areas. Twilight sedation or general anesthesia is often used in larger or combined areas depending on the complexity of the procedure.
How It Works
BodyTite™ uses radiofrequency (RF) energy to eliminate fat and tighten skin over just about anywhere on your body. While traditional liposuction can effectively remove fat, it has very little skin tightening capability. The RFAL™ (radiofrequency-assisted lipolysis) BodyTite™ treatment liquefies fat under the skin while also shrinking the connective tissue in the layers below the skin and the deeper skin layers, resulting in a tighter and smoother look. A small probe is inserted under the skin while an electrode is passed over the surface of the skin, through which electrical energy is passed over a short distance. The resistance to the electrical energy in the tissue results in very high temperatures that are known to tighten the tissue and create more collagen and elastic tissue response.

Why BodyTite™?
BodyTite™ is the first and most effective body contouring technology utilizing RF and RFAL™ with significant improvement in skin and subcutaneous tightening over previous technologies. It has built-in safeguards that allow instantaneously high temperatures to be distributed throughout the subcutaneous tissue without risking burning the skin or deeper tissue. There is minimal downtime and an easier recovery when compared to previous technologies. Most importantly, it also has smoother results than other devices. The highly focused radiofrequency energy leaves a less invasive injury to the tissue, delivering a faster, easier recovery.
There are many devices that sell themselves as being non-invasive when in reality, even though they may not penetrate the skin, they can be highly painful with a more prolonged recovery than minimally invasive treatments. Most of these, including CoolSculpting®, have no skin tightening ability at all and require multiple treatments over time. They can also leave an area with an uneven result because of the limited way they work. BodyTite™ leaves a final result that tightens skin in addition to removing fat where indicated. It is can also reduce much more fat in one sitting than any “non-invasive” treatment. With the minimal downtime, BodyTite™ is highly desirable and superior when considering the limitations of these devices as well as other invasive systems such as Smartlipo®, VASER®, or other “energy” devices.
Cellfina®
Cellfina®, the most effective FDA-cleared treatment for cellulite over the thighs and buttocks, is minimally invasive and performed under local anesthesia with or without minimal sedation and has little discomfort and downtime. FDA studies show your results can last for three years, and potential permanent correction can be obtained in certain areas that are treated.
Cellulite is primarily the result of dimpling caused by tension from the connective tissue bands under the skin in the subcutaneous layers. These tissues pull the skin down, causing the fat to bulge and creating a telltale uneven contour. Cellfina® works by severing these connective tissues and smoothing the skin in the treated areas.
How It Works
During your Cellfina® treatment, a vacuum-assisted plate is placed on the skin over the treated area, where local anesthesia is placed, making the area totally pain free. This plate stabilizes the subcutaneous tissue, providing an even layer of tissue to treat. A tiny powered blade is inserted under the skin and severs the connective tissue bands that cause the skin to dimple. The procedure typically lasts only 45 minutes, and most patients can return to their regular activities within 24 to 48 hours.
Fractora™
Cellulite and skin laxity of the buttock and thigh can sometimes occur simultaneously. One must not confuse skin laxity for dimpling, as Cellfina® does not help treat this condition. However, Fractora™ utilizes RF (radiofrequency) to gently tighten skin laxity to improve the results of Cellfina®, as there is some thinning of the skin in this condition as well. In cases of skin laxity alone, Fractora™ can tighten loose skin in this area. Topical anesthesia with gentle oral sedation is all that is needed for treatment, and there is minimal downtime with minimal, if any, post-procedure discomfort.
