MEET DAVID STEPHENS, MD
Based in Bellevue, Washington, Dr. David Stephens is a highly skilled and seasoned plastic surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Throughout his career, he has utilized proven and effective technological advances and techniques that, with his personal aesthetic sensibilities and attention to detail, provide for an exceptional “unoperated” result.
Dr. Stephens was recognized early in his career for his pioneering work utilizing small, “hidden incisions” and “endoscopic-assisted” procedures, a completely novel approach to plastic surgery of the face, breast, and other areas of the body. He continues to be an innovator in aesthetic surgery, utilizing the latest techniques and technology, including radiofrequency-assisted tissue tightening of the face and body contouring. His lifelong passion for skin rejuvenation and anti-aging skin treatments is reflected by his commitment to utilizing lasers and other minimally invasive skin rejuvenation treatments to stave off and reverse the effects of aging and environmental effects on the skin.
Dr. Stephens performs aesthetic surgery in all areas of the face and body. This includes comprehensive facial rejuvenation procedures and facelifts, eyelid lift surgery, all types of cosmetic surgery of the breast, liposuction/liposculpture, and body contouring. He also performs nano- and micro-fat techniques in facial rejuvenation and fat enhancement of the buttocks. He enjoys performing precision-structural-rhinoplasty of the nose.

Dr. Stephens was born in Canada and grew up in San Diego, California. Now a 25-year transplant, “native” of the Pacific Northwest, he is an avid outdoor enthusiast and enjoys working out and all types of exercise, including jogging and skiing. He has a deep love for this region’s natural beauty as well as its cultural offerings. His other hobbies are playing electric and acoustic guitar and reading fiction and non-fiction. He has a lifetime interest in art and architecture, once seriously considering a career in architecture. He is a proud father of two exceptionally accomplished and talented young women who are in their own professional careers in economics and medicine.
Dr. Stephens believes in “carrying it forward” and participates in breast cancer and breast reconstruction awareness and fundraising, Save the Children, Hopelink, Puget Sound Bloodworks, JazzEd, and recently, Medical Clinics International.
