Over time, facial skin can lose its youthful glow and appearance due to over-sun exposure and the body’s natural progression of the aging process. Unfortunately, as a result, the body may develop unattractive sun spots, fine lines, and lose its natural healthy glow. Other laser skincare systems lack the ability to effectively treat these conditions because of the inability to properly penetrate to the correct depth of the skin layers. The Halo system eliminates many years of damage by correctly targeting the skin depth. Halo restores the skin’s radiant youthful glow.

How many treatments are required?
Halo is a skin rejuvenation treatment system that will provide overall improvements to the skin tone, texture as well as a significant decrease in skin discoloration, reduction in fine skin lines and reduced skin pore size while brightening and enhancing the skin glow.
What are the treatments like?
Treatments typically take around 1/2 hour to a full hour, depending upon the areas treated. Sometimes, a mild topical anesthetic may be applied to the skin to reduce any sensation during the treatment process. Halo uses advanced motion tracking technology to ensure that each treated area is evenly and properly covered to prevent under treated areas or over treated areas.

What do Halo treatments feel like?
Halo uses an integrated cooling system, combined with topical anesthetic, most patients experience a mild sensation with little or no discomfort. The treatment experience is said to feel like a mild heat across the area with occasional comfortable prickling sensations. After a treatment, patients will continue to feel warmth in the treated areas for a quarter to half hour after the procedure.
What is the downtime for a Halo treatment and how long before someone can return to normal activities?
A patient should keep their skin protected for the first 24 hours and away from sun, but afterwards should be able to return to normal activities. After the first 24 hours post-treatment, the skin will begin to gently peel. This should not be a cause of alarm and is normal. Makeup can still be applied and worn during this phase. In a few days, a light bronzing appearance will develop followed by peeling of the entire treated area revealing the new refreshed skin beneath.
When can someone expect to see the results from a Halo treatment?
Typically someone will see noticeable results between two and five days. However, the skin will continue to improve over time. Most of the pigment improvement will take place in the first two to three weeks. Dermal regeneration continues to improve thereafter for months.
How long will Halo results last?
The results of a Halo treatment will last for many years, however, it’s important to keep the skin properly protected, away from the damaging effects of the sun while using a high-quality sun screen to protect the new healthy skin. Thereafter, each additional Halo treatment will only continue to improve the appearance of the skin.
