As Medical Director of our ASC, Dr. Stephens maintains the highest standards of patient safety and confidentiality in accordance with the best ambulatory facilities, bar none.
The facility boasts “state-of-the-art” technology in anesthesia, surgical equipment, and devices. Membership in the AAAASF ensures that we maintain current policies and procedures and governance to the highest level.
Our team is dedicated to patient comfort and safety, and we pride ourselves on communication. The team members are board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. David Stephens and board-certified anesthesiologist Dr. Harold Brandford, whose extensive technical skills, humorous and kind nature provide an added dimension of security and calm to what is sometimes a scary in event in our patients’ lives. Our registered nurse manager Rosemary Welch has more than fifteen years of surgical nursing and management experience and is dedicated to the highest level of patient safety. Maria Paisak, certified surgical technician, has been Dr. Stephen’s super-assistant for more than 18 years. Our team represents close to 100 years of combined operating room experience.
Stephens Plastic Surgery Center is accredited by the American Association of Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgical Facilities (AAAASF) and licensed by the Department of Health (DOH) of the State of Washington to provide all levels of anesthesia, including general anesthesia and conscious sedation.

Safety Standards
Not withstanding, safety standards don’t necessarily show the quality of the facility that we have here which is in our staff.
The attention to detail, cleanliness, friendliness and a dedication to professionalism and outstanding customer service is a common theme among the staff of Stephens Plastic Surgery from the time the patient comes in the office for the first time, until they are discharged from the practice. We consider our patients part of our greater family and friends. We maintain a zealous level of confidentiality for our patients, whether you are a celebrity or an average person you experience the same level of commitment to care and comfort. We endeavor to treat our patients like we would want to be treated.
Our ASC has a convenient back door exit to ensure a smooth egress after surgery as well as a convenient door alongside the elevator to our office if needed after your procedure. There is no detail that goes unnoticed.
